Turning offers into dinner: food delivery payouts

If there is one category that explains why people stay on a rewards site, it is this one. A few evenings of offers becomes a delivered dinner, and the amount you need is small enough that you are not saving for a month to get there.

Why this is the category to start with
Because $5 is a real amount here. Five dollars off a takeaway is a noticeable discount; five dollars towards a television is not. The lower the price of the thing you are buying, the more a small payout is worth to you — and delivery is the cheapest useful thing on the wall.
It is also the category where the maths is easiest to see. One decent app offer covers a delivery fee. Two or three covers most of a meal.
Uber Eats or Uber Rides & Eats
They look like the same card and they are not quite. Uber Eats credit is for food. Uber Rides & Eats credit spends on either, which makes it the more useful of the two if you use Uber for anything other than dinner. Same denominations, same delivery, so if both are on the wall the combined one is the better pick.
Instacart is the odd one out
It is grocery delivery, not restaurant delivery, and that changes what a payout is worth. A $25 Instacart credit is a meaningful part of a weekly shop. It also starts higher in practice, because a grocery order that small is rare.
How the credit arrives
